An easily adjustable 3-axis gimbal provides360-degree pan and 90-degree tilt adjustments for accurate positioning. Each features an integrated 4-10mm megapixel varifocal lens. The vandal-resistant aluminum chassis and 4-inch polycarbonate dome meet the IP66 weatherproof standard. And their surface-mount configuration can also be pendant or wall mounted. The SurroundVideo series consists of 8 megapixel panoramic dual encoder  (H.264 & MJPEC) cameras with 180 degree and 360 degree configurations. Ulike other panoramic technologies these multi-sensor cameras provide high definition imaging throughout the entire panoramic field of view without any post processing to de-warp the image. Arecont Vision's unique SurroundVideo technology uses four high definition 2MP sensors to provide a high definition panorama - 1600 x 1200 per sensor or 6400 x 1200 across all four sensors. The ROI for a SurroundVideo camera is easily measured when one considers it can replace up to 24 fixed or a PTZ while recording the entire panoramic field of view with the ability to zoom into multiple regions of interest.
