With increasing convergence of IT and CCTV technologies, modern CCTV networks have grown tremendously; operators need to connect multiple external devices (such as poisonous gas sensors) to the video transmitters to transmit alarms back to central control rooms. Most X-Net modules have two contact closures but in case more contact closures but in case more contact closure channels are required, the CC-16 modules add contact closures to any X-Net module. |

The X-Net Star Driver module provides 8 buffered data outputs for connecting multiple telemetry devices over a single data transmission channel.
The X-Net Star Driver is a companion card to the X-Net range of Optical and Codec modules. With the X-Net Star Driver, it is possible to connect up to 8 telemetry devices over a single X-Net data channel whilst maintaining a star wiring technology. Therefore, the star driver is ideally suited when a star format network or large cable runs are required. Thus allowing for cost effective system expansion of the CCTV networks without the need to re-route data cabling. |

The X-Net MPECG4/M-JPEG variable bit rate video codec is the latest in the line of video interfaces offered within the X-Net IP Video network package. The flexibility of closing MPEG4 or M-JPEG ensures that you always have the right codec for your needs. The system also has COE VI embedded in it and the video intelligence can be easily enabled as and when required.

The COE X-Net DataMux, allows up to 12 data channels to be multiplexed into the stream. The DataMux can be used as a standalone multiplexer or in conjunction with COE X-Net OPT4 or OPT8 modules to provide additional data channels.
DataMux provides a cost effective platform for increasing the data channels in installations where additional data channels are required for devices such as traffic light control systems, access control systems, alarm consoles etc. DataMux fits into the standard X-Net Rack and takes up two rack slots

G3 X-Net is a cutting edge MPEG-4 codec with features such as a highly optimized MPEG-4 algorithm, dual streaming, intelligent Video Analytics, packet restructuring for wireless networks and many more. The codec features an ultra fast Texas instrument DSP which is being utilized to its fullest capabilities in order to produce unmatched picture quality and highly accurate video analysis. As a result, the DSP generates a lot of heat. COE recommends that proper ventilation is utilized to ensure that the system performs to its fullest potential. We suggest for installations with limited ventilation, the X-Net fan tray should be utilized to prolong the life of the X-Net products. With X-Net Fan Tray, the X-Net codec can be used to up to 600 C. |

The H-Box encoder is based on the latest DaVind DSP from Texas Instruments and allows video, lip sync audio, data and contact closure alarms to be transmitted over any IP Ethernet network. Latest Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology ensures analogue equivalent video quality for all video applications where real-time low latency video transmission is required. Permanent virtual circuits can be dynamically created across a network using bundled COE View software. |
