Fire Alarm Systems

Manual or automatic fire systems and sprinkler supervisory systems use a combination of devices to sense a fire emergency at the earliest point.

Selection of the proper type and number of sensors is important in order to alert all the occupants of a building and to notify the central station so that the fire department can be dispatched.

Conventional Products

Hochiki's CDX Range offers one of the most extensive product portfolios available, providing solutions for most conventional fire detection applications as well as security systems, due to its wide operating voltage range (9.5-30V).

Analogue Addressable Products

Hochiki's comprehensive ESP Analogue Addressable Range is suitable for even the most demanding applications and incorporates high performance sensors, a wide selection of input and output modules and ancillaries. All products use Hochiki's high integrity communications link 'ESP' (Enhanced Systems Protocol) that's at the heart of the ESP range.

Door Holders

Arguably the simple most important fire safety mechanism. electromagnetic door holders guard against the lethal spread of toxic smoke and fumes - by far the greatest cause of death in fires.

The Vimpex range of door holders offers the installer the broadest choice of mounting styles, holding power and installation accessories.

Mounted onto a fixed surface, these door holders ensure retention of the fire door by means of a smart metallic keeper plate. Interfaced with the fire alarm system, the door holders are de-energised as soon as the fire is detected thus releasing the door without the potentially harmful delay suffered by other types of devices.

All Vimpex door holders feature metal enclosures to guard against heat fatigue - a problem associated with lower quality, plastic enclosures.

Conforms to BS EN1155 - Building Hardware - Electrically powered hold open devices for swing doors.

Air Sampling
The FIRElink range consists of the most sensitive smoke detectors available. The technology employed by these devices provides the very highest levels of sensitivity in enviroments such as computer and clean rooms. In these applications it is able ti sense the very smallest amounts of smoke. With the ability to differentiate between smoke and duct, this system is also suitable for a wide range of ''dirty'' enviroments, including paper/flour mills, generator areas, telecoms areas, funace rooms etc.
