How Monitoring Works:
Basic monitoring combines an elegant simplicity with advanced technology and the responsiveness of trained, concerned employees.
Ø Communication with ARC begins when a sensor or contact detects an intruder, fire, or other change and activates an alarm.
Ø The keypad sends a signal to the main panel.
Ø The main panel seizes the phone line and dials the ARC monitoring center, known as the Customer Monitoring Center.
Ø An ARC operator then contacts the customer and/or the proper authorities.
