The Fusion IV hybrid DVR Series sets a new standard for recording. Expanding beyond the analogue DVR role, Fusion IV bridges the gap between DVRs and NVRs; it is a full featured hybrid digital recording system. The system is designed to record, search and transmit up to 32 channels of analogue or IP video sources, up to 16 channels of audio and POS/ATM text data.
Benefits of the system include significantly expanded support for digital video sources; including IP cameras, network encoders and megapixel cameras. Fusion IV offers up to 32 channels of hybrid (analogue and/or IP) camera support. H.264 implementation provides superior video quality with small file sizes for improved performance across a network. Furthermore, H.264 is now a standard compression option for all cameras recorded on the DVR.
The Fusion IV hardware enhancements ensure efficient multi-tasking of simultaneous operations including network cameras, megapixel cameras, pointof- sale, video analytics and more. Dual video ports have also been added. Relying on the Windows® XP embedded operating system, the Fusion IV provides network security and firewall protection, while eliminating the need to format DVDs before back up. The front panel provides easy access to the standard DVD-RW drive, dual USB 2.0 ports and the four field-replaceable hard drives.
MarketOpportunities Global market adoption of IP and megapixel camera technologies drive the need for new surveillance capabilities offered by the Fusion IV DVR. Supporting both analogue and IP cameras, Fusion IV is ideal for systems requiring transition to IP to maximize the cost-savings benefits associated with IP networking. Additional benefits are realized for systems adding new capabilities such as unparalleled image clarity using megapixel cameras. Applications include educational, municipal and corporate campus environments, large retail with IDM (Integrated Data Manager) point-of-sale integration, and hotels or resorts. When the need is for a hybrid digital recording solution, the solution is the Fusion IV DVR. |

The Fusion IV NVR Series is ideal for video surveillance systems requiring a scalable recording and video management platform for an end-to-end digital system. A single Fusion IV NVR supports simultaneous recording, searching and system management for up to 32 IP and megapixel cameras, 16 channels of audio and a POS text data interface. Multiple NVRs can be combined to support a large-scale system deployment or systems requiring recording and management of hundreds of cameras. Central control of Fusion NVR systems and systems operating a mix of NVRs and DVRs is provided by multi-site Fusion Video Management Software (FVMS).
The Fusion IV NVR is ideal for upgrading the head-end recording solution of existing systems or equally ideal when installing a new state-of-the-art IP surveillance network. This is because Fusion IV supports multiple compression formats, including MJPEG, MPEG4, and H.264, as well as a wide variety of IP camera drivers.
The Fusion IV hardware utilises powerful processor and memory technology allowing support of multiple simultaneous operations such as point-of-sale text recording and video analytics. With standard dual video ports, end users can view live multiplex video and search at the same time. System expansion of recording and management resources has never been easier–by connecting additional Fusion IV NVRs to the local area network. The front panel provides easy access to the DVD-RW drive, one USB v2.0 port, and six field-replaceable hard drives. This provides system engineers a fast, convenient method to expand NVR storage capacity in the field.
Market Opportunities The continual growth of IP networks across the globe has lead to convergence of many organisation’s building security system needs and their IT system security facilities. This has resulted in a strong demand for all-IP end-to-end security system deployment. Fusion IV NVR provides the scalability and operational power to address the needs of a wide variety of applications including government security, port security initiatives, telecommunications sites, and many other applications. When the need is for a network digital recording and management security solution, the solution is the Fusion IV NVR. |

Recording at a rate up to 100 ips PAL, HRDP offers high-end capabilities such as a user-friendly front panel, IR remote control, express record configuration, express search an internal DVR-RW and 2 USB ports for copying evidence. When saving video clips to portable media, a viewer executable is included with each clip, which event and combined continuous/ event recording and is configurable per channel. Upon detection of motion, HRDP can automatically boost the ips recirding rate to capture additional detail of the scene. E-mail notification can be set up to alert a system administrator of DVR operational status conditions and site status notifications upon detection of motion.
HRDP can remotely accessed by system administrators and other DVR, clients using a PC via Web browser or via the powerful Remote Software included with each HRDP DVR. The Remote Software allows the administrator to configure, update, and operate the DVR from a central site, saves time and money by reducing the need for periodic site visits. System operators can have individual privileges enable or denied for fuctions such as live view, playback, backup, and PTZ control. |
